Audio Crumbs is a brand of individual experiences delivered through headphones that will challenge you within a group and that will make you interact with the other participants. It creates space for new habits to form, something that can be developed further even once the recordings are over.
Our audio walks tend to be site specific, but will all have the same methodology and be based on the same interactions and the same objectives. They will be easily adapted for other places. We don’t want to make people learn about the places though, but learn about themselves: the different surroundings will mainly be the context of the walk and not the topic of it.
Movie by Francesco Garbo
Our first iteration is the experience we design for thecamp as an introduction or a conclusion of your stay. We hope it is going to be the first of a serie. The overall experience will be a succession of walks and scenes in different locations, as they listen to the narrator which will be more than just a voice, it will become your guide and guardian through the story. You’ll develop trust and be more likely to do things that you otherwise might not. It’s a chance to be fully immersed into the story, learning new things by doing them.
One could for example experience what it’s like being blind and have to rely on the group to navigate, act out various scenes where individual participants have their own unique role, be part of an acapella group, learning how to work together towards a shared goal.
All of these moments will ideally be the basis of a discussion the participants will have right after. As people will gain trust with each other in the group, it will be easier to connect with the others.
