Oyster’s Marble: recycle seashell from seafood restaurant after consumption.

We want to make a local and organic material by a frugal and circular process in order to render it reachable for fablab and designer.

A seafood restaurant put between 300 and 600 L per day of seashell waste. After our investigation, we never found a restaurant recycling seafood waste around us.

This project is made for people who likes :

  • diy movement
  • fablab users
  • conscious of the importance of recycling
  • conscious of the need of a more local economy
  • In France there are more than 350 official makerspaces and about 25 makerspace in our PACA region. This community become bigger and bigger since a decade of year.

According to the media Makery, 93% of the fablab are equipped with a 3D printer.
