Alola is a collective [soon:*association*] focusing on a peer-to-peer cultural exchange with the goal to seamlessly integrate locals and individuals from different cultural backgrounds by:
Providing toolkits to organise workshops around cultural thematics.
The team are designing open source activities for thematic ready-made workshops (around food, music, cities, clothes, language, tales, etc.), but also incorporate these activities in tangible curiosity boxes (as autonomous as possible) around one of the previous thematic, for a more playful interaction.
The Alola team want this exchange to be a powerful instrument to foster understanding, multicultural connections and celebrate diversity.
Creating links and mixity between the local actors working with children.
In parallel, the Alola team propose a platform to connect local associations and structures working with children (refugee association, CADA, cultural associations, centre aéré, centre social…) .
It will be collective and playful : “ a moment of lightness for each participants ”. The idea is to design the solution with children and to think today an “after Hive” for Alola.
